The second provokes thought about the ongoing portrayal of the 1994 Tutsi Genocide and its impact (and value) regarding collective memory:

A narrative on the 1994 Genocide that does not reflect on the Rwandan peoples’ fate 15 years on, then is bereft of any political or historical significance.”
